Rueben’s cycling challenge

Nine-year-old Rueben loves riding his bike and animals. So he arranged a sponsored bike ride to help us look after animals in need. He cycled five miles – the furthest he’s ever cycled – and raised £465!

“I’m so proud of all of the money I raised,” says Rueben. “It was far more than I expected as my fundraising target was £50! I know every penny will be used to help animals in need, which makes me very happy.”

We’re so impressed, Rueben! Thank you so much.

100 miles for animals

Fleur (10) walked, cycling, swam and rode a horse for a total of 100 miles (160km) in 10 days, to fundraise for the RSPCA! She managed to raise £330.

“Animals can’t speak, so I want to give them a voice and support them any way I can,” explains Fleur.

Fleur’s dad joined her on a bike ride and swam in the New Forest. And the family’s golden retriever, Luna, came on the walks until she hurt her paw (she’s all better now!).

Thanks so much for all your hard work, Fleur!

Teatime with Primrose

Primrose, aged eight, held an afternoon tea in her garden to raise money for RSPCA Ashley Heath Animal Centre, in Hampshire. Primrose’s mum, sister Florence and two nannies helped her serve a truly tasty tea. They raised £160!

“I don’t like animals being treated cruelly, so I wanted to help my local branch,” says Primrose. “I saw how the money would be spent on things like food and blankets to help the animals in their care.”

What a wonderful afternoon, Primrose!

Nancy’s top challenge

Seven-year-old Nancy ran one mile every day of the Easter school holidays – completing 14 miles and raising a totally amazing £320. She even went for a run on Easter Sunday before eating her Easter eggs!

“Luckily the weather was good and it didn’t rain much,” says Nancy. “I fell over on a bridge on my second run and almost got stuck in the mud by the river another day! But I really like all animals and wanted to help save some of them, so I kept going.”

You’re an inspiration, Nancy. Thanks so much!

Ivy’s super stall

Eight-year-old Ivy filled her stall full of cuddly toys to raise money for the RSPCA – and to get her Brownies Charities Badge. She raised £55!

Ivy asked friends and neighbours if they had any cuddlies to donate and filled her mum’s care with more than 100.

“I was a bit nervous speaking to people I didn’t know at first,” admits Ivy. “But then I started to enjoy it. People were very nice. I sold over 80 to neighbours. Squishmallows were the kids’ favourite. And some people even bought a toy for their dog!”

What an amazing stall, Ivy. Well done!

Molly and Reuben’s fundraising win

Molly and her brother Reuben had a huge clearout, and set up a stall on their driveway to raise money to help animals. They sold old books and toys and bits and bobs they didn’t need any more. Keen artist Molly even sold her first painting! The pair raised a fabulous £30.

“I love what the RSPCA does and I wanted to help as no animals should suffer,” says Molly. Reuben agrees. “We donated to the RSPCA because we love our own pets – a cocker spaniel, a Syrian hamster and lots of fish.”

Thanks so much for thinking of us, Molly and Reuben.
